The school's present population is approximately 1500
which is drawn from a wide area and is genuinely comprehensive. Almost 40%
of the student population comes from ethnic minority groups.

There is a fine hall with a well equipped stage, a Sports Hall, an all

A fully equipped Learning Resource Centre with its own

St Mary Magdalene CE Primary School is a single form
entry school with around 230 pupils in Stanway Road, West Bromwich. We pride

Westminster School
The Westminster School caters for pupils with Moderate
Learning Difficulties, plus Additional Needs. We are a secondary phase
special school catering for pupils aged 11-19. We offer pupils a broad and
balanced curriculum, whilst aiming to meet their individual special
educational needs.
The school is committed to equal opportunities, and
all pupils are expected to leave school with a range of externally
accredited qualifications. Preparation for life takes on a more prominent
role as pupils progress through the school. At all times they are expected
to work and behave responsibly, showing respect and consideration for
others.
Our OFSTED Inspection (September 2006) recognised that
we are a good, caring school that provides an effective individualised
education for its pupils. Inspectors reported that the pupils at The
Westminster School feel secure and act in safe ways because they receive
good quality personal guidance. Inspectors reported that the pupils at The
Westminster School are well looked after, they are safe, contented and
happy.
